Having scoured the streets of Aberaeron for something that wasn't Fish and Chips or burgers we found this little treasure on full display in plain sight.

We had to wait 5 minutes for a table (not a...problem given it was a Saturday night and we didn't have a booking), but then once we did get seated the service disappeared.

We were very warmly welcomed by a fabulous waitress who was so smiley and bubbly, the restaurant was fairly quiet but the atmosphere was warm and inviting....We chose the vegetarian lasagne, crevettes, sherry trifle and apple pie and the food was delicious, served beautifully and without a doubt the best lasagne (apart from my own of course!)

We were not disappointed. My wife had the baked whole sea bass which, by all accounts, was beyond reproach. We both had the 10oz fillet steaks which were beautifully cooked and...accompanied with chips, mushrooms and grilled tomato.

Love the laverbread choices to give a real welsh seaside feel. The waitresses were very attentive and we couldn't fault the service we received.
